I can close my eyes and see her;
smiling as sweet as could be.
I remember how she'd greet me:
"Nice to see you again, Amy'!"
I somehow thought she'd live forever;
now I wish I had visited her more.
We shouldn't take things for granted;
not knowing what the future has stored!
Regrets can't make up for lost moments;
so live every day like your last.
Make time for loved ones more often'
before their lifetime has past!
Little things as you age are important;
like a visit, a photo or a call.
If I could just hug my Grandma again...
I'd never let her go at all!!!
The Big Red house on Main St.
The smell of Carmel corn
I can hear her play the piano and sing me a little song
snuggled up in the silk quilt
ready to fall asleep
Voices from the Kitchen
as I awaken in the morning
aromas of coffee and fried rolls
I head to the kitchen
"Good morning Amy,
what can I get you?"

I didin't see this until this morning. I thought about Grandma all day yesterday. I loved clicking on your blog and seeing that picture. I miss her too.
