When I took my Mom to see Dr. Hart, for her follow up visit, I of coarse took my camera along. So, I asked her to pose for me, and share her incision with everyone that takes a look at my blog. I even gave her a suggestion to look down at the incision because she doesn't like her picture taken.
Here is a close up. She had to get the staples taken out that day too. She wasn't too excited about this because it just made her feel kinda queasy. I am the same way.
This is what a healthy shoulder looks like.
This is what Mom's new shoulder looks like. Come to find out she had REVERSE shoulder replacement, so the cup is no longer on the inside it is on the outside. Amazing huh???
These little guys are Mom's new friends, inside her right shoulder. Aren't they cute?
Recovery is going well, and Mom is a die hard when it comes to listening to her Physical Therapist. If he says 3 times a day then it's 3 times a day. Her motto is "no pain, no gain!"
