Learning to Crochet

One of my Clients is 100 years old and still crochets, can you believe it. I have sat with her before and she has worked with me but today I finally got the hang of it. I wasn't planning on making anything, this was just going to be practice, to get the hang of it. Then I looked down and this is what I created :)

It can be a kozi for my water bottle. I don't really know how I got here. I was doing a single crochet circle, then I chained two or something like that. I don't know the crochet lingo yet :)

Now I need a pattern because I have to see if I can make something for real. So toodle loo....I will let you know how things are going or if I give up!

I have had trouble posting a comment the last couple of days - so I try again. You're crocheting!!!! and it looks great. I wish I could say the same thing about my knitting. I do have to let you know I am anti bottled water though. I also am using reusable grocery bags. Again my family things I am a little overboard - but they are going along with it. :-) I am off to a baseball game today.
