Cougar Green State

Connor's baseball team had a good state tournament. There are different categories for the teams(A-AA-AAA and so on) and his team is actually 'A' but could play 'AA' State. Anyway they were the 32nd seed and had to play some tough teams. They ended up 22nd overall which is great considering the limited practice time due to their field being flooded out and some of the boys on his team had 8ft of water in their homes. Connor was very happy with the outcome and how they played.

I also only made it to one of his games. After talking with Connor he said"Mom, you can stay and watch Luke because if I had a choice I would want to be here cheering him on too" I felt bad, at first, but he was fine with it as long as I kept him updated on the scores. It is so hard when you have one child who has been on a very successful team, that does very well and then you have another child who has had to struggle.

I am so proud of Connor and how he supported his brother this past weekend....sometimes I wonder if there is any love between them the way they go after each other...but this past weekend showed me there is:) I am so blessed to have two wonderful boys!!
