The last 10 days have been so much fun. I have enjoyed spending time in Osage with my boys, enjoying time with some very special people. I haven't spent this much time in Osage for a long time. I think it was very good for my boys because the pace was so much slower and the town is so quiet and peaceful. We went for walks, had to go to the Library to use the computer, completed 4 puzzles, went to Spring park-caught a frog and a couple of snakes, learned how to make bracelets using hemp, enjoyed homemade meals(biscuits and gravy, fun yummy salads, chicken wings to die for, hamburger gravy, potato skins, homemade salsa) - NO fastfood, swatted some flies and had a funeral for them, learned how to crochet with plarn, (plarn is plastic grocery bags cut into strips and crocheted), went for rides on the river rode, visited and reminisced, laughed and even cried.
"Big" Luke teaching "little" Luke how to make a bracelet out of hemp.
Aunt Dona working on her "Plarn" crocheted purse.
Homemade salsa before it is mixed up. I thought it was so colorful. "Big" Luke makes the BEST salsa EVER.

Connor on his rip-stik.
We saw this saying on one of our walks.
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
